I love Japanese art and I worked with Kamal to develop a referential but unique look. A lot of the work I did had to do with gathering references and helping to develop a colour palette for the characters and environment. I also directed the character designer Aisosa Ugiagbe with many references to work from and gave feedback while the characters were being developed (images below!).
