In Ecosink, I created all assets based on Casey's hand-drawn illustrations. The isometric environment was first created in 3D, then the model was printed and traced by Casey and then recreated again digitally by me and applied on top of the 3D model in the game. The character design was again based on Casey's drawings and animated with as few frames as possible for the loops in the game.
